Fast Facts

City: Querétaro, a colonial city, 3 hours away from Mexico City.
One of the safest and cleanest cities in the country.

School: Tecnologico de MonterreyA university renowned all over Mexico and the world ( I think).Pretty small campus, with an atmosphere that is quite similar to HEC Montreal.

Housing: House 5 mins away from the school, got 3 roomates for the moment and we will have internet in the next few days. The best part of it all, we got a cleaning lady!!

Roomates: Miss Africa aka Safie lol No actually Safia ;)
& 2 Mexican girls and a girl from London.

People: The people here are really really nice! They are really helpful and really welcoming. But I think they're not used to seeing black people lol. There is not a day where Safie and I dont get whistled at, or looked at, or screamed at. It's pretty weird actually. It's going to take some time to get used to it.

Life: So not expensive, living like a queen! lol The bus costs like 30¢ & the taxi costs about 3$ the ride. The food is soo soo good. Love it. I did get sick though once... Apparently everyone that comes to mexico has to get sick at least once lol. Go figure.

Nightlife: Absolutely CRAZYY!! The clubs are awesome. They might even better then the ones in Canada :P But they dont play enough hip hop though: It's house music heaven.
